Extreme Amounts of Beeswax per Foundation Sheet
For the commercial beekeepers who's business needs mandate the use of plastic foundation, the amount of beeswax applied to each sheet plays a major role in bees willingness to accept new foundation and draw out fresh comb. Wonky comb costs money and it does not make sense to cut corners here. Our Deep plastic foundation sheets are available with either 15 grams or 30 grams of beeswax per sheet—your choice. That works out to an astounding 3.3 pounds or 6.6 pounds of beeswax per 100 sheets, respectively.
