Extreme Amounts of Beeswax per Foundation Sheet
For the commercial beekeepers who's business needs mandate the use of plastic foundation, the amount of beeswax applied to each sheet plays a major role in bees willingness to accept new foundation and draw out fresh comb. Wonky comb costs money and it does not make sense to cut corners here. Our Deep plastic foundation sheets have 30 grams of beeswax per sheet. That works out to an astounding 6.6 pounds of beeswax per 100 sheets, respectively.

I have tried frames with all types of foundation, from yellow to black, both pre-waxed and frames i have waxed myself. I have never had my bees build out comb faster than on these frames. They absolutely loved them. The frames are well made, fit in the boxes snugly and slide in and out without catching. I really love the idea of going plastic free. I hope they come back in stock as these will be my go to frames in the future. They are definitely worth the money."

" Keep the girls happy
These beeswax foundation frames are what my bees really want! My bees have been reluctantly building was on the inner eight frames of the plastic foundation frames in my apimaye 10 frame hive & the inner 6 frames of my wooden langstroth 8 frame hive. They don't like the black waxed plastic foundation frame. They don't like the yellow waxed plastic foundation frame. In early spring, my ladies had an empty honey super with no frames where I had kept a piece of folded up burlap for moisture wicking over winter. I removed it & checked the hives three weeks later & they had built beautiful natural wax comb hanging from the piece of wood I'd left in there accidentally when I removed the burlap. I realized they girls don't like plastic. We removed the wild comb & tied it in to empty frames with rubber bands & they filled it all in just like they liked! So, when we added another honey super, I decided, from now on, I'm ditching all the plastic frames & replacing it all with this wired wax foundation & let them decide what to do with it! They seem to be pretty sharp about how to handle the hive work. It's my job to provide them with the best resources they can work with. I don't imagine they had plastic foundation frames a hundred years ago:/ Lesson learned."

They seem superrrr sturdy with the extra reinforcement staples on the top. Honestly, I’m just happy they won't fall apart on me when taking them out of the hive. The frames on the edge of the box had a hole in the wax but the rest were fine. I doubt the bees will mind. Also, I hate using plastic anywhere especially for my bees and the honey, so I'm switching out all the plastic frames that came with the nukes for these! These look so much better with the beeswax/wire and wood frames instead of those plastic frames! Now I just need to see how the bees like them throughout the year."

"Premium Frames Without any Assembly Effort
It is such a splurge to get these, completely assembled! Typically I'd have to assemble not only the wooden frames but for a wire wax foundation would also have to painstakingly thread them on. These are 100% preassembled in the box and done very well. Each frame is stamped with the brand name and website in case you forgot who to re-order them from. The stamps also help me remember which orientation each frame was when I pull them out for hive inspections. Bees took to them well and started building out their own comb in no time. The only issue I had was that a couple of them got warped a little in storage in the garage on an especially hot day - not really the frames' fault, being just wax with no plastic backing I should have stored them in a cooler location. I would highly recommend this brand and these frames for their quality and ease of use."

I love these frames. It's so hard to find plastic-free Langstroth frames in the USA so I was thrilled to find these. They arrived quickly and are exactly as pictured. The frames were assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. The foundation is 100% beeswax, no plastic! They seem to be sturdy and fit the Langstroth deep box perfectly so they function great. Good value for the money, only slightly more expensive than the plastic, but at least now my honey won't be contaminated with microplastics. They are as durable and sturdy as any other frame I've used."

" Great for Candles
This is 100% beeswax and you can definitely tell the difference. I am a beekeeper and this is the same wax that i pull form my hives. I also make candles and use a lot of wax. The other stuff is cheaper, but it does not compare with 100% beeswax. Candles burn longer and without smoke when using natural bee wax. Will be buying again soon."

Great quality beeswax! Shipped quickly. I bought this to use for waxing beekeeping frames, and it worked perfectly. The wax had a nice natural golden color, melted down smoothly, and smelled amazing — that clean, natural beeswax smell with no weird chemical odor. I also really appreciated that they included two complimentary 1-ounce blocks of wax, which was a nice surprise. The two 1 lb bars were easy to work with and store, and the wax brushed onto my frames really well to give the plastic foundation a better coating for the bees. Overall, I’m really happy with the quality and would definitely buy again."

I prefer materials that I can work with indoors. This stuff was great for finishing my wood project. It melted easily and buffed to a lovely shine. It does EXACTLY what I need it to do. Melted into my red oak necklaces and pendants quickly and left them with a great subtle aroma of honey. For me, non-toxic low VOC and rapid setting finishes are critical. This wax was all of that. Will be purchasing again."
